Aleksandra Michalak – a highly regarded artist of many fields who is a member of the Baltic Dance Theatre’s Company. She graduated from the Secondary Ballet School in Gdańsk; after graduating from ballet school, she joined the Baltic Opera. She plays in every ballet of the Baltic Dance Theatre’s repertoire (The Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky, Men’s Dance and in ballets by Izadora Weiss: 4&4, Eurasia and Romeo and Juliet where she plays Mother) and in opera productions (Don Giovanni by Mozart and Eugene Onegin by Tchaikovsky). For several years she has been a passionate teacher of children. She gives ballet classes for children in the Baltic Opera. In the latest premiere by Izadora Weiss OUT she plays Thanatos (Death), she also dances in the ballets Windows and Eugenio Scigliano’s Cinderella. She is a coordinator of the Baltic Dance Theatre’ Dance School.
