Alex Baczyński-Jenkins is a choreographer working in choreography and performance art, a graduate in Contemporary Dance, Choreography, Context of the Universität der Künste in Berlin and in Aural and Visual Cultures of the Goldsmiths University in London. He participated in the Ashkal Alwans Home Workspace Program in Beirut. He has presented his works in London (David Roberts Art Foundation, Delfina Foundation, Block Universe, Whitechapel Gallery), Basel (Basel Liste), Beirut (Home Works Beirut), Berlin (Sophiensaele Theater) and New York (Swiss Institute). In his practice, he focuses on mediation and politics of affect, desiring subjects and new embodiment. He lives and works in Warsaw and London.
