Dominik Krawiecki – actor, director, performer. He graduated in theatre (individual programme of Krzysztof Stróżański) from the 14th Secondary School in Wrocław. He studied acting at the State School of Drama (PWST) in Wrocław from which he was expelled. For several years he was very active in theatre circles of Wrocław. He was the founder and director (for two years) of Zakład Krawiecki Theatre which performed in many festivals in Poland, winning, among others: the Grand Prize of the 6th International Festival of Theatre And Visual Arts – “Zdarzenia” – Tczew – Europe 2005 (for Zona, Roxxy Hot and Aaa pracy szukam, matkę oddam). An actor of Irena Rzeczowska’s Theatre “Zielona Latarnia”. He hosted many theatre events (among others WROSTJA (Festival of One Actor Theatres in Wrocław).After leaving Wrocław, he lived in Cracow where he studied theatre theory at the Jagiellonian University. He co-created Avant Theatre (Currenty Nowy Theatre) with Piotr Sieklucki. After leaving Poland, he settled in Lucerne, Switzerland, and he worked for Luzerner Theatre for three years. He performed in classical and contemporary repertoire. He is co-founder – together with Sławek Bendrat, Simon Reimold and Angelika Rohrer – a dance theatre Pink Mama Theatre (2009), located in Bern (Swizterland). Their performances are interdisciplinary where dance, singing and text play equal roles. Currently, he performs in Escort and Afterparty of the group. He is creating, together with Pink Mama Theatre, a premiere of Swingers Planets. In Poland, Krawiecki and Pink Mama Theatre works are regularly presented in Wrocław in performance/dance initiatives/reviews of Adam Kamiński. |
