Filip Michalak a dancer of the Baltic Dance Theatre. A graduate of the Secondary Ballet School in Gdańsk. After graduating from ballet school, he joined the Opera Nova in Bydgoszcz, and in 1999 he moved to the Baltic Opera where he made his debut as Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet by Prokofiev.
Since January 2006 he has been a soloist of the Baltic Dance Theatre (BDT). In the Baltic Opera he played infrom heaven, Peter and the Wolf, Don Quixote, Giselle, The Nutcracker, 4&4, At the moment, he performs in Romeo and Juliet, Waiting for…, Out, Cool Fire, Midsummer Nights Dream, Death and Maiden, Light, Body Master, The Tempest, Phaedra by Izadora Weiss, Dream and Tamashi by Wojciech Misiuro, Chopinart+ by Emil Wesołowski, Cinderella by Eugenio Scigliano, No More Play, Sarabande by Jiří Kylián, Clash by Patrick Delcroix.
In 2012, he received the Award of the City of Gdansk for Young Artists in the area of Culture.
