Gintautas Potockas is a first soloist of the Grand Theatre in Łódź. He graduated from the Vilnius Ballet School and danced with the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre and the Roma Music Theatre in Warsaw before joining the Łódź ballet company. He has also danced with the Ballet Classic de Paris, the Bytom Opera, and the Baltic Opera.
In Łódź he has perfumed as Albert in Giselle; Franz in Coppélia; Theseus and Oberon in A Midsummer Night’s Dream; Karol in The Promised Land; Herald in Amadeus; Prince in Snow White; Snow Pas de Deux, Mouse Kong, Harlequin, Drosselmeyer, Toreador in The Nutcracker; Prince Desiré and Bluebird in The Sleeping Beauty; the title role in Rudolf Valentino; Prince in Cinderella; the title role in Akhnaten; Golem in Colour Yellow, Oppressor in Kobro; Prince, Benn and pas de trois in Swan Lake; Romeo and Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet. He also has guested with ballet companies and at ballet galas across Europe (pas de deux from Coppélia and Don Quixote).
In recognition of his outstanding artistic achievements, he has received an Award of the Marshal of the Łódź Province
