Jarosław Zaniewicz is a soloist of the Polish National Ballet. He graduated from the Roman Turczynowicz Ballet School in Warsaw in 2004 and became a dancer of the Ballet of the Teatr Wielki Polish National Opera in Warsaw (now: Polish National Ballet). In he was promoted to coryphée. Since 2014 he has been a soloist.
Before the Warsaw audience he has created many solo parts in the PNB’s classical and contemporary repertoire: Officer in Anna Karenina by Alexei Ratmansky; Spanish Dance, Arabian Dance, and Claras Brother in The Nutcrackerby Andrzej Glegolski; Couple in Concerto Barocco by George Balanchine; Princes Friend in Cinderella; Cinderellas Step-Sister in Cinderella by Frederick Ashton; Drinking Companion in The Prodigal Son by George Balanchine, Classic Seraphim in Six Wings of Angels by Jacek Przybyłowicz, Prince Charmant and Cinderellas Prince in The Sleeping Beauty by Yuri Grigorovich; Lysander in A Midsummer Nights Dream by John Neumeier; The Nutcracker in The Nutcracker by Toer van Schayk & Wayne Eagling; Paris in Romeo and Juliet by Krzysztof Pastor.
