Joel Mesa Gutierrez dancer. Born in Barcelona. In 2012, he graduated from Institut del Teatre, major: contemporary dance. Later, he studied in Verve (Leeds, the UK) in Postgraduate Performance Company, where he cooperated with such choreographers as Lee Anderson, Gemma Nixon, Jonathan Goddard, Jamaal Burkmar and Ben Duke. In his carrier, he has had an opportunity to be involved in numerous international projects, cooperating with Toc de Retruc, Leftovers and Thomas Noone Dance.
Since April 2015, he has been a dancer of the Baltic Dance Theater. He performs in Izadora Weisss Death and Maiden, Light, Body Master, The Tempest, Phaedra.
