Joo Paulo de Castro Franca dancer. In 2011, he started learning classical ballet and contemporary dance in Center for Artistic Training of Clovis Salgado Foundation (CEFAR). In the same year, he joined Ballet Jovem Palácio das Artes headed by its artistic director Andrei Maia (Balé da Cidade de So Paulo), which significantly influenced his later carrier.
In 2013, he co-created a performance Viva, Vive! with Ballet Jovem and Black Box Dance Company directed by Marie Brolin-Tani in Denmark. With this performance, they went on a tour of Denmark and Sweden in 2014.
Since October 2014, he has been a dancer of the Baltic Dance Theater. He performs in Izadora Weisss Cool Fire, Midsummer Nights Dream, Death and Maiden, Fun, Light, Body Master, The Tempest, Phaedra and Jiří Kyliáns No More Play
