Marta Mück (formerly: Pałka) doctoral candidate at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology, University of Pedagogy in Cracow. She completed a postgraduate course in dance theory at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, and graduated from the IWANSON International School of Contemporary Dance in Munich.
Mück has danced since she was 7 years old. She studied at the Cracow Opera Ballet Studio and the Cracow Dance Conservatory. In 2008, she was a finalist of the global round of the European Show Dance Union international dance competition and received the Silver grade for her self-choreographed performance of the variation Inside the matrix.
In 2011, she graduated with distinction from the IWANSON International School of Contemporary Dance in Munich. A year later, Mück received a scholarship of the President of the University of Pedagogy in Cracow for artistic and academic achievements. In 2013, she was awarded a professional dancer diploma by the Association of Polish Stage Artists (ZASP), and became a founding member of the Theory of Dance Academic Circle at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, and started teaching at the International Contemporary Dance Workshops in Koszęcin.
Mück regularly participates in numerous Polish dance workshops, festivals, and academic conferences. She has developed her dancing skills in a number of dance workshops in Poznań, Koszęcin, London (Pineapple Dance Studio, The Place), New York (Broadway Dance Center ), and Reykjavik (Iceland Dance Company). She has danced in Poland, Finland, Denmark, and Germany, and cooperated with such ensembles as Studio Sztuki Tańca, Eskperymentalne Studio Tańca, Oranim Dance Group, Art Dance Company (all based in Poland), and Hausgemacht (Germany).
