Monika Grzelak – S-Class Dancer in Latin style dances, choreographer, instructor and ballroom dance judge of the Polish Dance Federation. World Vice-champion in mambo, Polish champion in salsa and mambo. In 2001–2009 she run Dance Studio and a multiaward-winning company the Salsa Kings in Gdynia. Since 2009 a leader of Dance and Movement Academy “Dance avenue” in Gdańsk.
As a choreographer and dancer she has experience in theatre and film, she took part in production of feature films Huśtawka directed by Tomasz Lewkowicz (2009) and Kochaj i tańcz directed by Bruce Bruce Parramore and choreographed by Jarosław Stańko (assistant choreographer, dancer, 2009).
As a dancer she performed in a dance performance 12 Ławek of Jarosław Stańko at Music Theatre in Gdynia (2006) and as a choreographer and stage movement director – in a performance Posprzątane at Wybrzeże Theatre (directed by Giovanni Castellanos, 2006).
Since 2007 she worked for the Sopot Dance Thetre with whom she created, as a dancer and co-choreographer: D-KOD-R(2007),3 x Noir Danse(2009) and Natura(2010/2011).
