Sayaka Haruna dancer of the Baltic Dance Theatre. She started ballet classes at the age of 5. She was impressed by Kazuyuki Futami’s work, which motivated her to learn contemporary dance. In 2010 she studied at Codarts University for the Arts. Sayaka worked with Jiří Kylián, Michael Schumacher and Sabine Kupferberg in “Dance & Age” program. Also in 2010, she worked with Dance Works Rotterdam and Introdans as an apprentice. In the season 2011/2012, she danced with Cinevox Junior Company.
Since September 2012, she has been a dancer of the Baltic Dance Theatre. She has performed in, e.g. Waiting for…, Windows, Out, Cool Fire, Midsummer Nights Dream, Fun, Light, Body Master, The Tempest, Phaedra by Izadora Weiss, Clash by Patrick Delcroix and Six Dances, Falling Angels by Jiří Kylián.
