Svetlana Siplatova – a soloist in the Polish National Ballet. She graduated from the State Ballet School in Minsk and then she was granted the title of bachelor in Aggrippina Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet in Saint Petersburg. Her teachers included Irina Silnikova, Alatynai Asylmuratov and Ulyana Loptkina. In 2004 she won the First Prize at the International Ballet Competition “Crystal Pointe Shoe” in Kharkov. In 2008–2011 she was a dancer in the Marian Theatre ballet. Since 2011 she has been a soloist in the Polish National Ballet. In Petersburg, she created such roles as: Mirta in Giselle, Street Dancer in Don Quixote, Thin Girl in Cinderella, Gypsy Girl in Petrushka, she also danced in Pas de deux and Mazurka in Swan Lake and Pas d’action in Bayadere. With the Polish National Ballet, she has performed to date in: Our-Second Woman in Krzysztof Pastor’s And the rains will pass… Snowflake-Soloist in The Nutcracker, Gamzatti in Bayadere and Classic Seraphim in Six Wings of Angels.
