Gdańsk: Amareya Theatre premieres fetish.wtf concluding its anniversary celebrations

On Wednesday, 4 December (7 pm) Club Żak in Gdańsk (ul. Grunwaldzka 195/197) will host the premiere of Amareya Theatre’s yet another production, this time directed by Dorota Androsz. fetish.wtfinvestigates the notion of fetish as a thing of peculiar power, emanating senses, rich in primeval qualities and able to influence and bind. The production is also a journey to retrieve an object with the use of reflexes, fear, reverence or desires. fetish.wtfalso explores fetishisation of the body and gaze as a power which objectifies the body.

The premiere comes as part of Amareya Theatre’s celebrations of its ten years of existence, which also included three other premieres, an exhibition, a film screening, performances of Amareya’s productions and general merrymaking with the company’s fans, friends, artists and family.
