Whisper in my eye/Susurro en mi ojo by Małgorzata Haduch was developed during the choreographer’s residency at the Centro de Las Artes in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, where she spent four weeks working with dancers from Queretaro, Jalisco, Pachuca, and San Luis Potosi. The piece is an attempt at finding choreographic tools that would enable experiencing dance not through vision but through hearing. Yet it is not sound that is the centre of attention here, but silence. The choreography concentrates on two music forms: noise and whisper, using the methods of creating movement developed and gathered together in the course of the series of performances Free The Dance.
