In the 2015/16 season, the Polish National Ballet ensemble will be joined by seven new dancers from Gibraltar, Spain, Japan, Poland, Russia, and the USA. Additionally, three members of the ensemble have been promoted to more prominent artistic positions.

 

Chinara Alizade, who graduated from the Moscow State Choreographic Academy and has been the soloist at the Bolszoi Theatre in Moscow, will join the PNB in the same role. Also added to the ensemble were Paulina Magier (Poland) of the Janina Jarzynówna-Sobczak Ballet School in Gdańsk, Kiti Saito (Japan) of the Académie Princesse Grace in Monte Carlo and Rachel Alexandra Vrbancic (USA) of Les Grand Ballets Canadiens in Montreal, as well as Jordan Bautista (Gibraltar/UK) of the English National Ballet School, Francisco Ruiz-Echarri Laguna (Spain) of Theater Augsburg, and Renato de Leon (USA) of Houston Ballet II.

 

Moreover, in recognition of artistic merit, PBN Director Krzysztof Pastor promoted three dancers to more prominent positions in the upcoming 2015/16 season. Corypheé Robin Rent was promoted to soloist, while dancers Mai Kageyama and Kristóf Szabó joined the corypheé group.
