From Tuesday, 13 May to Saturday, 17 May the ZAMEK Culture Centre in Poznań will house the Focus Festival presenting the outcomes of the Metamorphoses project (2012-14) supported by the European Commission as part of the Culture programme. Metamorphoses is a collaboration project of La Briqueterie/CDC du Val de Marne (France), Les Brigittines (Belgium), and the ZAMEK Culture Centre (Poland) dedicated to international coproduction of dance performances, a video project, in-situ projects in each participating city, debates, and workshops focusing on the theme of transformation of spiritual and religious power, labour, and political power. The project brings together three places steeped in history and converted into art centres devoted to contemporary art, dance and movement, where the past serves the present.
As a result of an international call, three chorographers were selected to bring to life three respective productions and present them in each of the three venues. The project also gathers interdisciplinary artists and a film maker.

Dominika Knapik (Harakiri Farmers) / Karine Ponties (Dame de Pic) / Dario La Stella (Senza Confini di Pelle) / Clotilde Amprimoz (ChoréACtif) / Wandertag / Les Oiseaux sans t?tes / Animatornia.
