On February 11, the West Australian Ballet will host the Australian premiere of Robert Bondara’s Take me with You, set to the music of Radiohead. Bondara’s choreography will open the Platinum: Ballet at the Quarry night.
Well-known and highly regarded in Poland, where it premiered at the Polish National Ballet and featured unforgettable performances by Yuka Ebihara and Kristóf Szabó, Bondara’s piece is about to debut at the West Australian Ballet as part of a quatre bill night, which will also feature the world premieres of New Work by the critically acclaimed Brazilian-British choreographer Daniela Cardim; and Concerto Impertinente!, co-choreographed by dancers Nikki Blain, Chihiro Nomura, Kiki Saito & Claire Voss with Sandy Delasalle, who created the piece during the 2020 lockdown. The fourth and final presentation will be Matthew Lehmann’s Truth.
The bill repeat until March 5 at the Quarry Theatre.
