On 5-7 April 2018, Maciej Kuźmiński will give three guest presentations of his choreography Repetition. The presentations will be held at 3:e V?ningen in Gothenburg, marking the Swedish premiere of the piece.
Repetition is a visual essay about transitions of identity that questions the essence of repetition itself. As in Bergman?s ?Persona?, here also the differences and similarities between two women seem to blur, to later become visible in detail. The work, with it? complex composition formed by recurring themes, begs a question ? is repetition possible at all?
Selected out of nearly 700 applications, Repetition represented Poland at the biggest international dance fair Tanzmesse NRW in Düsseldorf, Germany in 2016, and will now be presented in Sweden.
3:e V?ningen in Gothenburg is a space dedicated to contemporary dance and art, focusing on choreographic and spatial expressions, which uses broad national and international networks to enable carefully selected guest performances.
