On 3 August at 8 pm the Court Ballet Cracovia Danza is presenting the great finale of the 14th Court Dance Festival at the Barbican. Titled A L’ESPAGNOL, the gala links to the festival’s main theme “the Spanish Court”. The show will take the audience on a fascinating journey to the thrilling world of Spanish dance from the 16th century to present-day flamenco. Different styles of Spanish court dance will be presented by Ana Yepes and Carles Mas i Garcia; Alaknanda Bose and Romana Agnel will treat us to a fusion of Indian dance kathak and Spanish baroque, while Małgorzata Matuszewska will fire up the stage with her flamenco rhythms. Last but not least, the dancers of Cracovia Danza will perform a burlesque pantomime of Don Quixote set to the music of G. P. Telemann. Our website taniecPOLSKA.pl is a proud partner of the event.
