Josefine Patzelt studied dance at the Musikhochschule in Cologne and in private lessons with Alexandra Kunz. She gained her first stage experiences at the Fontys Dance Academy in Tilburg, the Netherlands (Bachelor of Dance with specialisation in Dance Theatre and Modern Dance, 2011). She has worked with: Johan Greben, Club Guy & Roni, Leine & Roeband, Adva Zakai, Aisling O’Coineen, The Trippin Angels, Paula C. Collins, Modern Dance Theatre, and Photini Meletiadis. Lately she has danced with the Tanzmoto Dance Company (Germany) and took part in Sara Wiktorowicz’s project presented at the Burgenländische Tanztage, Austria.
In the 2012/2013 season Josefine joined the Polish Dance Theatre. She performs in: Minus 2 (choreography: Ohad Naharin), Desert (choreography: Paulina Wycichowska), Maathai (choreography: Niels Claes), Hello, Stranger! (choreography: Paweł Malicki), B@ttle Between Carnival and Lent, Tango with Lady M., two parts of the PDT’s jubilee project XL. Polish Dance Theatre Yesterday and Today:”Conrad Drzewiecki in memoriam” and “Episode 5. 1988-1992: The Solitude of Faust”, Wish You were Here (choreography: Ewa Wycichowska), Forty (choreography: Jo Strmgren).
