Kinga Szabłowska graduated from the Roman Turczynowicz Ballet School in Warsaw in 1997. From 1997 to 2002 she was a dancer with the Kraków Opera and the Oranim Dance Group. In 2002 she obtained a degree in ballet pedagogy from the Fryderyk Chopin University in Warsaw. From 2002 to 2007 she was a dancer with Opera na Zamku in Szczecin.
She began teaching while still at university, first at the Ballet Studio of the Kraków Opera, then at the Ballet Studio of Opera na Zamku. Currently, she works at the Dance Conservatoire in Cracow and the Ballet Studio of the Kraków Opera. She also runs workshops (e.g. during the International Summer School of Contemporary Dance in Koszęcin), participates in dance projects, and produces her own choreographies. Her students may boast successes at international competitions (two second prizes of the Dance World Cup 2010, 2011).
Kinga Szabłowska won prizes of the Music World Festival w Fivizzano (2000) and Le Printemps de la Danse w Bordeaux (2001). In 2013 she was decorated with the Meritorious for Polish Culture (Zasłużony dla Kultury Polskiej) honorary award.
