Marcin Motyl graduated from the Roman Turczynowicz Secondary Ballet School in Warsaw. He completed Henrrik Kaalunds Coaching Project and attended GaGa technique workshops held by Noa Paran (GaGa People/ Batsheva Dance Company).
In the 2011/2012 season he joined the Polish Dance Theatre. He has performed in: Minus 2 (choreographed by Ohad Naharin), B@ttle Between Carnival And Lent, FootBall@…, XL. Polish Dance Theatre Yesterday and Today. Episode I: Don Juan and the others and Wish You Were Here (choreographed by Ewa Wycichowska), as well as Forty (choreographed by Jo Strmgren), Perception and Nondescript (choreographed by Urszula Bernat-Jałocha). He continues to hone his skills by participating in numerous workshops in Poland and abroad, working with such pedagogues as Franck Chartier, Henrik Kaalund, Yi-Chun Liu, Stian Danielsen, Anna Nowak, Shi Pratt, Sjoerda Vreugdenhila and Noa Paran, among others. His most significant choreographic work has been Plan (2016), presented as part of the 9th Polish Dance Theatre Atelier Festival. He is currently researching new forms of productions, including film and choreographic competitions.
