Alex Baczyński-Jenkins will present his new work Untitled in the Centre for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw

Centre for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle invites to the presentation of Alex Baczyński-Jenkins? performance Untitled that will take place on the 31^st March at 9 pm.

In this new work, Alex Baczyński-Jenkins continues with his choreographic practice that undertakes the politics of desire, queer embodiment, relationality and collectivity. His choreographic works manifest ways of being together and explore affinities and entanglements between the queer utopian potentiality found in everyday materials, social dances and fragments of counter-culture histories. Baczynski-Jenkins? new work is deeply rooted in an immersive sonic space of songs by Brygada Kryzys ? a post-punk band that released their first album in 1980s when Poland was under martial law. Baczyński-Jenkins choreographs ways of being together through kinaesthetic empathy, gestures and sensuality, using minimalistic situations and means to draw our attention to the politics of affect and the force of relationality.
