Anna Krych – dancer, choreographer, dance teacher. She graduated from the State Ballet School at the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera in Warsaw. She worked for several theatres in Poland: the Bydgoszcz Opera, the Krakow Opera, the Wrocław Opera, Polish Dance Theatre, Capitol Musical Theatre, Arka Dance Theatre. In the early 1990’s, she danced for the Polish Dance Theatre – Poznań Ballet: she performed in The Mad Fiddler by Ewa Wycichowska. She is a member of the Capitol Musical Theatre’s company in Wrocław. She performed both in musical and contemporary (Capitol’s Contemporary Dance Stage) repertoire. Since 1994 she has run, together with Jacek Gębura, Contemporary Dance Studio (MTT) (formerly: Youth Dance Theatre) as its co-founder and teacher, in Wrocław (at Capitol). She has run workshops/gave practical lectures at the University of Wrocław (Department of Polish Studies: theatre studies).She has run workshops, created performances and projects at Contemporary Dance Studio (MTT) in Wrocław and culture centres in Poland and abroad. She has participated in projects of youth exchange – Berlin, Lübeck, Eisenhüttenstadt. She collaborated, as a choreographer, with Musical Theatre in Goerlitz. She won a scholarship from the French Consulate – with the contemporary dance group of Kilin Cremon in Lyon. She has worked, as a dance teacher, for the Capitol Dance Stage’s group at Capitol Musical Theatre in Wrocław.
