Ewa Nowak is a soloist of the Polish National Theatre. She graduated from the Roman Turczynowicz Ballet School in Warsaw. In 1995 she won the Second Junior Prize and in 1997 the Third Junior Prize at the Polish National Dance Competition in Gdańsk. In 2000 she was named The Best Ballet School Graduate in Poland. While at school, she received twice a scholarship of the Polish Childrens Fund. She also completed a summer course at the Académie de Danse Classique Princesse Grace in Monte Carlo and the Summer University of Le Ballet des Jeunes dEurope in Lubéron, France. In 2010 she graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw with a diploma in teaching ballet.

 

She joined the Ballet of the Teatr Wielki Polish National Opera (Now: Polish National Ballet) in 2000. In 2008 she was promoted to coryphée and in 2010 to soloist. The key roles in her repertoire are: Clara and Chinese Dance in The Nutcracker, Shade-Soloist 1 and 3, pas daction in La Bayadre; Princes Friend (pas de trois) in Swan Lake; Music in Chopin, the Romantic Artist; Princess Aurora, Princess Florine, Fairy of the Liveliness in The Sleeping Beauty; Lise’s Friend in La file map gardée; Second Air in In Light and Shadow; Laterna Magica Princess in The Nutcracker. She has also danced solos in In Daybreak (choreography: Karol Urbański), In Raspberry Brushwood  (choreography: Anna Hop), And the Rain Will Pass(choreography: Krzysztof Pastor), and in Human Object (choreography: Barbara Bartnik).
