Karina Adamczak-Kasprzak – dancer, teacher, choreographer. A first soloist in the Polish Dance Theatre where she has worked since 1993. She graduated from the State Secondary Ballet School in Poznań and the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw (ballet pedagogy).
She made her debut in the Polish Dance Theatre, as a ballet student. She danced in choreographies by Mats Ek, Brigit Cullberg, Ohad Naharin, Dominique Bagout, Orjan Andersson, Virpi Pahkinen, Yossi Berg, Istvan Juhos-Putto, Thierry Verger, Ewa Wycichowska, Jerzy Makarowski, Jacek Przybyłowicz, and others
She is a contemporary and jazz dance teacher in the ballet school in Poznań. She gives classes at International Contemporary Dance Workshops and Open Contemporary Dance Classes in Poznań. She is the author of choreographies for performances by Marcin Liber (Jedynak) and Piotr Kruszczyński (Romeo and Juliet, Queen and Shakespeare). In 2009 she created, together with Agata Ambrozińska-Rachuta, Balladyna at the Atelier of the Polish Dance Theatre.
