Marek Ludwisiak is a dancer, choreographer and dance educator.
He graduated from the State Ballet School in Łódź and went on to study at the Amsterdam School of the Arts.
A scholarship holder of the Stefan Batory Foundation, the Ballet Foundation in Szczecin and the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage for 2023, he performed in the National Ballet Competition in Gdańsk.
Ludwisiak has danced with many ballet companies domestically and abroad, including Het National Ballet Amsterdam, Polish Dance Theater – Poznań Ballet, Theater Halberstadt, Theater Nordhausen, Theater Magdeburg, Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern, Stadttheater Bremerhaven, Staatstheater Cottbus, Music Theater in Łódź, and the Opera at the Castle in Szczecin.
He has been cast in many solo roles, including the Groom in Les Noces, Don Jose in Carmen, Franco in Coppelia, Pulcinella in the ballet Pulcinella, and many others.
A dancer and classical dance teacher at the Warsaw Ballet, Ludwisiak is also Artistic Director of the Opole Dance Festival 2017 and founder of the Łódź Dance Theater. A member of the Union of Polish Stage Artists (ZASP) since 2015, he is currently an independent artist.
