Oleksandr Apanasenko – ballet soloist of the Opera in Wrocław. Born in Russia, he graduated from the ballet school in Kiev in 1995. For four years (1995–1998) he danced for the Grand Theatre in Odessa, where he performed in Masquerade as one of four small players, The Humpbacked Horse as Yorsh, in pas de deux of the 1st act of Giselle, as Harlequine in The Nutcracker, as Jago in Othello, as Innkeeper in Don Quixote. In 1999 he joined the ballet group of the Opera in Wrocław as a soloist. His parts in the Opera in Wrocław: Mouse King and Nutcracker (Nutcracker), Prince (Cinderella), the Young (Bolero); also man’s part (Paquita), Redbeard and Prince Sigfried (Swan Lake) and Shoemaker (Puss in Boots).
