Piotr Nardelli is a teacher of classical dance and ballet master. He graduated from the Warsaw Ballet School. Straight from school, he was engaged by the ballet company of the Teatr Wielki in Warsaw. In 1970 he left the country to join the Ballet National de Marseille under Roland Petit. In 1973 he became a dancer of the Ballet of the 20th Century of Maurice Béjart in Brussels. He performed in: Golestan, Romeo and Juliet, Bhakti, Firebird, The Rite of Spring, Symphony No. 9, Renard, Petrushka, GaitéParisienne, Bolero, and many more. In 1979, together with Andrzej Ziemski, he set up the ballet studio Balletomania in Brussels. He also taught at Béjart’s Mudra School and the Ballet of the 20th Century. He worked as Béjart’s assistant, staged and helped reproduce his choreographies at the Paris Opera, Stuttgart Ballet, Royal Danish Opera, Australian Ballet, Colón Theatre, Deutsche Oper, and Tokyo Ballet. For 30 years now he has worked as guest teacher with ballet schools and as part of dance workshops across the globe, including in Poland (Polish National Ballet).
He has worked with dancers of the Paris Opera, Royal Swedish Opera, Municipal Theatre of Rio de Janeiro, Palacio de Bellas Artes (Mexico City), Tokyo Ballet and National Ballet of Japan, Finnish National Opera, Royal Ballet of Flanders (Antwerp), Stuttgart Ballet, Berlin Ballet, Australian Ballet, Béjart Ballet Lausanne, Ballet du Nord, Monte Carlo Ballet, La Scala, Teatro di San Carlo (Naples), Municipal Theatre of Florence, and the Korean National Ballet.
