Emerging dancers and choreographers Izabela Chlewińska, Magda Jędra and Marysia Stokłosa are the first Polish dance artists-in-residency of the joint residency exchange program between the Art Stations Foundation in Poznan and Dance/UP – Dance/USA Philadelphia, inaugurated in June 2012.

As part of this collaboration, Polish dancers are offered a customized residency in Philadelphia during the renowned 16th annual Philadelphia Live Arts & Philly Fringe Festival. They will participate in studio work, classes and dialogues with Philadelphia artists. They will also have a chance to present their solo work as part of the Philly Fringe Festival program at the Mascher Space Co-op. (14-th-16-th of September, Friday – Sunday, at. 8.00 p.m)

PHL/Poland Dance Artists Exchange program is supported by The Institute of Music and Dance in Warsaw and the Polish Cultural Institute New York, in collaboration with the Gdansk Dance festival and the Zawirowania Dance Theatre Festival in Warsaw.
