The Solo Dance Contest 2018, held as part of the 10th Gdańsk Dance Festival, attracted 173 entries from 37 countries from around the world. The competition will take place on June 11-15, in Klub Żak. The invited artists will perform their solos for four days, and on the fifth day the finalists chosen by the international Jury will show their works again. In addition to the Jurors, the audience will also award their prize. The prize pool of this year?s edition amounts to EUR 6,000. The Solo Dance Contest is a broadly defined contemporary dance / contemporary ballet competition addressed to dance artists and striving to support and promote contemporary dance.
