We now know the final long list of dancers to take part in the Solo Dance Contest 2014. As many as 71 entries have been submitted in response to the call, representing 21 countries (17 entries from Italy, 13 from Poland, and five from the Netherlands, Greece, Germany, and Spain, each). In June Gdańsk?s Club Żak (Suwnicowa Hall) will welcome 35 dancers to its stage. Among Polish participants will be Agnieszka Kamińska, Maciej Kuźmiński, Agnieszka Muczyń, and Maria Zimpel. The competition gathers professional dancers from across Europe and aims to promote contemporary dance. Shortlisting and finals will take place as part of the 2014 Gdańsk Dance Festival on 6?8 June.
