To celebrate the International Dance Day, Lublin Dance Theatre, Lublin Centre for Culture and the Centre for the Meeting of Cultures in Lublin, will present the outstanding UK-based Hofesh Schechter Company with their most recent performance Grand Finale. This ambitious and extremely daring production features 10 dancers and live music performed by 6 musicians. Grand Finale will be presented on Sunday, 28th April at 7 p.m. in the Opera Hall of the Centre for the Meeting of Cultures in Lublin.
Grand Finale is at once comic, bleak and beautiful, evoking a world at odds with itself, full of anarchic energy and violent comedy. Filtering this irrepressible spirit, Shechter creates a vision of a world in freefall by combining live music, dance, theatre in a truly innovative way.

Hofesh Shechter Company led by Hofesh Shechter is known for producing extraordinary dance works that continuously trespass aesthetic and formal borders. The company’s unique character stems from it being composed of a diverse group of outstanding dancers. The HSC was founded in 2008, it is based in UK, and tours internationally. The company’s repertoire includes: Uprising (2006), Political Mother: The Choreographer?s Cut (2011), Sun (2013), Barbarians (2015) and Grand Finale (2017). The company has toured internationally presenting their works in renowned dance stages of such cities as: Paris, New You, Melbourne, Tokyo, Tel Aviv, Seul, Rio de Janeiro.
