On Saturday and Sunday, 22and 23 February (7 pm) the Old Brewery in Poznań hosts two consecutive performance programmes: the Tanztage Berlin 2014 Evening and the Solo Project 2013 Evening. The first is a showcase of pieces conceived by young choreographers participating in the Coaching Project, a laboratory in which hypotheses can be tested. It can also be seen as a field that you dig to cultivate new ideas. Each year the mentoring process is different to specifically address the needs and interests of the participants. This year it embraces three projects that were growing over the course of five weeks. With the mentors’ help, ideas developed into fully-fledged productions. Thanks to the Allianz Kulturstiftung, the participants have a chance to share with a similar coaching scheme, the Solo Project of the Art Stations Foundation by Grażyna Kulczyk, and meet with emerging Polish choreographers in Berlin and Poznań.
The Tanztage Berlin 2014 Evening will feature Barbara Berti, Lea Kieffer + Michael Shapira, and Claire Vivianne Sobottke, while the Solo Project 2013 Evening will showcase works by Baśka Gwóźdź, Korina Kordova and Agata Siniarska, who are the project’s latest residents.
Admission to each evening – PLN 5. Tickets may be bought at the Old Brewery’s information desks and on www.ebilet.pl
