Poznań: Polish Dance Theatres 27 Seasons Ewa Wycichowskas farewell performance

The Polish Dance Theatre will deliver the only presentation of Ewa Wycichowska?s farewell performance 27 Seasons on Thursday 30 June 2016 at 7 pm at Stanisław Moniuszko Grand Theatre in Poznań. In August 2016, Prof. Ewa Wycichowska, an outstanding dancer, choreographer, teacher and dance theatre manager, will complete her mission as the director of the Polish Dance Theatre. The performance will sum up Wycichowska?s 27 artistic seasons as Polish Dance Theatre director, recalling the creative energy and numerous successful projects that have enriched the cultural life of the city, region and Poland, and have won critical acclaim and audience appreciation at prestigious festivals. The 27 Seasons will be presented on the Grand Theatre stage which has hosted many of Wycichowska’s premieres. The entire Polish Dance Theatre ensemble will take part in the performance, along with former member artists Iwona Pasińska, Paulina Wycichowska, Krzysztof Raczkowski and Przemysław Grządziela, whose outstanding creations have contributed to the theatre?s unique artistic value over the past 30 years.

The performance will be based on Wycichowska?s choreographies from a range of her renowned works, including Faust Goes Rock, The Mad Fiddler, It?s Already Dusk, The Rite of Spring, Dangerous Liaisons, +- finity, … and I?m Dancing, Carpe diem, Spring ? Effatha, Tango with Lady M. and Transss….
