Viktoria Nowak, from Poznań, will represent Poland at Eurovision Young Dancers 2015, having beaten off competition from nine other dancers during the national final ? Młody Tancerz Roku (Young Dancer of the Year). The national selection to choose Poland’s representative in Pilsen in June 2015 was held on 22 March by Poland’s Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, the Institute of Music and Dance, and Polish national broadcaster TVP, whose culture channel, TVP Kultura, transmitted the event live. The contenders were ten dancers aged 16?20, representing different dance styles, including ballet, contemporary dance, and hip-hop.

Viktoria Nowak is a student of the Olga Sławska-Lipczyńska Ballet School in Poznań, and specialises in modern dance. Viktoria won not only the jury vote, which was decisive, but also the public vote. In addition to being selected as Polish representative at Young Dancers, Viktoria also won a contemporary dance seminar at the National Dance Centre in Paris before heading to Pilsen (sponsored by the Institute of Music and Dance) and jazz dance workshops (sponsored by the Kielce Dance Theatre).
