Centrum w Ruchu [Centre in Movement] and their artist friends of the experimental music scene are presenting improvised performances at the Zielony Jazdów / Green Jazdów festival in Warsaw. Come and witness movement meeting sound on an open-air stage surrounded by abundant greenery.
The performers will join in an improvisation to evoke “here and now” situations with spontaneous movement and unconventional approach to creating sound. Inspirations drawn from nature and the park’s architecture will translate into subtlety of the dancers’ movements. The park will become an integral background and a unique setting for the artists’ actions, but also an important meeting point where contemporary dance will encounter a wider public.
Two improvised performances from Centrum w Ruchu are scheduled during Zielony Jazdow / Green Jazdów: on 6 July and 31 August.

CENTRUM W RUCHU is an association of choreographers, individuals of broad experience and top-class education in the field of dance and performance. CENTRUM W RUCHU is our response to the current situation- to the lack of dance spaces, which are necessary in order to develop work, lead workshops and nurture the dance scene. Although our individual interests and choreographic languages may differ, we decide to stick together and provoke change. It has been created and is run by ourselves- the artists. It has been built from a need, from within, from the centre. CENTRUM W RUCHU will stimulate the development of the dance and performance scene and broaden the importance of this creative field in the cultural life of Warsaw.
