Wrocław Pantomime Theatre: Premiere of “SZATNIA” (“Locker”) based on themes of Tomaszewski

On 20 December, the Wrocław Pantomime Theatre is pleased to invite you to the performance based on excerpts of archival choreographies by Henryk Tomaszewski, outstanding director and founder of the theatre, at Współczesny Theatre/Duża Scena. By referring to those performances, it is possible to bring the contemporary audience closer to the spirit and specificity of Tomaszewski’s works. In the artistic and research process, a new original scenario has been developed, which is alluding to history, but at the same time, is creating a new quality of pantomime in Wrocław.

This characteristic exploration of legendary performances of WTP is a unique attempt to re-event, reconstruct the tradition, cope with it and to redefine the essence of Tomaszewski’s theatre.

For the first time, it is possible to take part in the first night performance and party of the Wrocław Pantomime Theatre! Tickets – 40 PLN at Współczesny (Contemporary) Theatre, Tuesday–Friday, at 12.00 pm – 7.00 pm and at http://148.81.254.170/rezerwacja/.

Tickets for other performances, on 19–21 December: 30 PLN full ticket and 20 PLN discount ticket.
