ARTBALE Association for Cultural Education and Art (directed by Ewa Głowacka) was founded primarily for the Ballet Summer Festival (since 1997 in Lądek Zdrój); in November 2010 Artbale decided not to organize the festival which was taken over by municipal institutions). The association consists of dancers, choreographers, musicians, visual artists, teachers and lawyers, all supporting the development of dance and ballet. Apart from the Ballet Summer Festival, the association’s most important achievements include organization of the annual Warsaw Choreographic Evening (three times since 2008) and the European Era of Dance.
