Ewa Wycichowska decorated with an Annual Minister of Culture and National Heritage Award

Professor Ewa Wycichowska, excellent choreographer and educator, general and artistic director of the Polish Dance Theatre, was decorated with an Annual Minister of Culture and National Heritage Award. The distinction is awarded to prominent figures of Polish culture.   Ewa Wycichowska has put on over 70 dance productions in Poland and abroad. On Saturday, 28 November (8 pm), the Polish Dance Theatre will premiere Ewa Wycichowska?s Lament. Pamięci Tadeusza Różewicza [LAMENT. Tadeusz Różewicz in memoriam] (MP 2, ul. Głogowska 14). Formally, the show spans two temporal dimensions with characters shifting between them and interacting with one another. The Poznan-based Polish Dance Theater (Polski Teatr Tanca) will be making their New York debut at the 34th Annual Battery Dance Festival. Dancing Poznań 2015 starts tomorrow: 22nd Contemporary Dance Workshops and 12th International Dance Theatres Festival Space

The Polish Dance Theatre (PTT) will hold the 22nd edition of its annual dance workshops. On August 22-29, Ewa Wycichowska?s company will host the well-established Dancing Poznań event, which will include the 22nd International Contemporary Dance Workshops and the 12th International Dance Theatres Festival ?Space?.
