Wrocław: In Between Festivals series launched

Next week, Wrocław will see the beginning of In Between Festivals, a year-long series of events focusing on the Berlin jazz scene and contemporary dance. The dance event series will open on 17 February at 7 pm with Hermann Heisig?s show Slap/Stick. Heisig, a Berlin-based dancer and choreographer, a graduate of Die Etage, has worked for Meg Stuart, Damaged Goods, Tomasz Lehman and Martine Pisani. Cracow: Choreographic Machine 2015 Schlemmer. Analogies starts in September

From September to November 2015, the Centre for the Documentation of the Art. Of Tadeusz Kantor CRICOTEKA in Cracow (ul. Nadwislańska 2-4) will host the third edition of the performance programme The Choreographic Machine. Conceived by curator Anna Królica, this year?s edition will be titled Schlemmer. Poznań: Launch of Achive of the Body performance art programme

7 September will see the launch of Archiwum ciała [Archive of the Body], a performance art programme of the ZAMEK Culture Centre in Poznań. First on the agenda (6 pm) is the panel discussion “Talking to the Ancestors: remixes and the Spring Festival”, exploring the notion of “archaeology of dance” in Polish stage practice and Polish context.
