Na inaugurację wrześniowej odsłony 14, Gdańskiego Festiwalu Tańca Klub Żak zaprasza na pokaz przedstawienia Fakarouni w wykonaniu Orly Portal Company. O spektaklu tak mówi choreografka: „Tworzenie tej choreografii było jak wyznanie uczuć dla miłości, wszystkich moich bliskich, ukochanych, kochanków, jak pieśń chwaląca możliwość bycia kochającą kobietą, która nie zależy od miłości.”
Za koncept spektaklu odpowiada Orly Portal – charyzmatyczna tancerka, której spektakl „Rite of Spring” uwiódł trzy lata temu widownię Gdańskiego Festiwalu Tańca. Artystka zaprosiła do współpracy trzech doświadczonych tancerzy, którzy tańczyli w czołowych izraelskich zespołach Batsheva i Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company. Spektakl Fakarouni to wirtuozeria choreografii, ekspresja artystów i tradycyjna muzyka Wschodu, to opowieść o związku przemijającego ciała z wieczną miłością.
Pokaz przedstawienia został dofinansowany przez Ambasadę Izraela w Warszawie.
Dla kogo: fanów Orientu, zakochanych, dla tych co pierwszy raz i co już trochę widzieli.
Orly Portal – choreografka, niezwykle charyzmatyczna tancerka, pedagog i choreoterapeutka z prawie trzydziestoletnim doświadczeniem. Ukończyła Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, tańczyła w izraelskich Kol Udmama (Sound and Silence) Company i Batsheva Ensemble. W ciągu ostatnich 15 lat rozwinęła dwie unikalne metody: taniec brzucha jako środek w terapii oraz ATM – Awarness Through Movement – połączenie techniki Feldenkraisa i improwizacji.
