Krystyna Kostrzemska-Suska– Polish dancer born in Berlin. She graduated from Schule fur Buhnentanz Anni Stoll Peterka. She started her career in 1950 at the Poznań Opera. Since 1973 she has worked for the Polish Dance Theatre where for several years, she has been dancer, stage manager and ballet inspector at the same time. She has remained at the post of inspector to date. In the Opera, she danced in character and classical repertoire, in performances by Conrad Drzewiecki, among others in The Miraculous Mandarin; Ewa Wycichowska created the role of Madame Rosamonde in Dangerous Liaisons especially for her, and Paulina Wycichowska cast her in the choreography Dancing Hz. She received many awards for her works, among others Honourable Badge of the City of Poznań, Medal of the bicentenary of Polish Ballet, Medal of Bogusławski and Badge of Merit to Culture. |
