Agata Jankowska-Dobrowolska

A first ballet soloist in the Grand Theatre in Łódź. She graduated from the Feliks Parnell Ballet School in Łódź. She also graduated in ballet pedagogy from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. She joined the Grand Theatre in Łódź in 1997. Since then she has won fervent admirers, and she has played most of leading and solo parts in classical and contemporary ballets presented in Łódź. She was Helena and Lovage Flower in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Butterfly in Sleeping Beauty, Flora in Carmina Burana, Three shadows in Die Bajadere, Mada Muller in The Promised Land, Fairies in Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Myrtha, two Wilis in Giselle, Carmen in Carmen. She was Destiny in Wolfgang Amadeus, she performed the French dance in The Nutcracker, she played Polish Princess in Swan Lake (and pas de trois in the 1 act). She also performed many solo short pieces and classical dance variations during ballet galas presented by the Grand Theatre in Łódź.
