Anna Lorenc is a soloist of the Polish National Ballet. In 2005 she graduated from the  Ludomir Różycki Ballet School in Bytom, Poland. Before that, in 2003, she had participated in a summer training course at the Ballettkonservatorium Stankt Plten, Austria and in 2004 she had won the third prize at the Citta di Rieti International Dance Competition in Italy. In 2010 she obtained a degree in ballet teaching from the Fryderyk Chopin University in Warsaw.

 

She has danced with the ballet company of the Teatr Wielki Polish National Opera (now: Polish National Ballet) since the very beginning of her career. In 2010 she was promoted to coryphée and in 2014 she became a soloist. Her repertoire includes: Blancheflor in Tristan by Krzysztof Pastor, Fairy of the Delicacy in The Sleeping Beauty, Fairy Godmother in Cinderella, Chosen Woman in The Rite of Spring by Maurice Béjjart, Her 3 in Persona by Robert Bondara, Snowflake-Soloist in The Nutcracker, Classic Seraphim in Six Wings of Angels by Jacek Przybyłowicz, and other roles. She has also danced the Grand Pas Variation 1 in Don Quixote, Recordare in Kurt Weill, in In Light and Shadow, and many choreographies created by the PNB’s dancers as part of the Creations choreographic workshops.
