Grzegorz Pańtak – dancer, dance teacher, choreographer. A co-founder and the vice-president of the Kielce Dance Theatre. He is a guest soloist at the Wrocław Opera in Krzysztof Penderecki’s opera Paradise Lost (directed by Waldemar Zawodziński, 2008). He also performed in King Roger (directed by Mariusz Treliński, co-production of the Wrocław Opera, Mariinsky Theatre from Petersburg and International Theatre Festival in Edinburgh, 2008). He graduated from the Ballet School in Bytom (external student) and Academy of Physical Education in Katowice. He has developed his jazz dance techniques since 1994, studying at Paris dance schools: Centre International de Danse Jazz and Studio Harmonic. Founder and organizer of the Kielce Dance Festival, an annual event organized since 2001.
He teaches jazz dance in many workshops in Poland and in the USA, qualification courses and universities: Private Staszic School in Kielce (bachelor’s studies), University of Rzeszów (post-graduate studies), the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw (ballet pedagogy – master’s studies).
A winner of the prizes granted by the City of Kielce and the Marshal of Świętokrzyskie Province.
