Julia Hałka is a dancer. She graduated from the Cracow Dance Academy, and received her dancer diploma from the Union of Polish Stage Artists in 2012. She then continued her education at the CODARTS University of Arts in Rotterdam, working with such choreographers as Marina Mascarell, Jan Martens, Tom Simons, Sjoerd Vreugdenhil, Jona San Martin and Amancio Gonzales. In 2015 she joined the De Stilte company in Breda as an intern, receiving a diploma in contemporary dance in 2016. She also participated in numerous dance workshops organised by the Netherlands Dance Theatre and the Moving Futures Festival in Rotterdam. Throughout her education she received a number of scholarship, including the Young Poland grant from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
