Mateusz Sierant – a soloist of the Grand Theatre’s ballet in Poznań. A graduate of the Secondary Ballet School in Poznań. As a ballet school student, he was successful in many ballet concerts and competitions. He took the third place at the International Ballet Competition in Paris. Many times he also danced at the Stanisław Moniuszko Grand Theatre in Poznań. In June 2007, after graduating ballet school, he was employed as a coryphée. After one year of work he was promoted to soloist. In that time, he crated many important leading roles in classical ballets and contemporary choreographies. He played, among others: Prince in The Nutcrackerchoreographed by Sławomir Woźniak, Młody in Harnasieby Emil Wesołowski, Narcyz in Mity with music by Karol Szymanowski, Romeo and Benvolio in Romeo and Juliet byWesołowski, Franz in Coppelia choreographed by Woźniak, James in La Sylphide by Bournonville and Danceny in Dangerous Liaisonsby Krzysztof Pastor.
