Michał Ośka – dancer in the Baltic Dance Theatre. He graduated from the Acting Studio of the Stefan Jaracz Theatre in Olsztyn (2004) and from the Private Staszic School in Kielce (in dance). In 2007 he took the exam of Polish Stage Artists Association and received a certificate of professional dancer. Since 2004, for five years, he collaborated with the Kielce Dance Theatre, where he developed his jazz dance technique. Every year he also participated in International Jazz DanceWorkshops . He collaborates with Thierry Verger; so it’s hardly surprising that his favourite style is modern jazz underground. Since January 2009 he has been a dancer in the Baltic Dance Theatre. He danced one of the leading roles in the premiere of Izadora Weiss’ OUT and his dance is marked by great emotionality and expressiveness. Currently he performs in Izadora Weiss’ The Rite of Spring, Waiting for… and Windows, Wojciech Misiura’s Dream and Eugenio Scigliano’s Cinderella. He also performs in the Baltic Opera as Jochanaan in the Mark Weiss’ opera performance of Salome.
