Natalia Trafankowska– a ballet soloist in the Grand Theatre in Poznań. She started her dance education in the State Ballet School in Donetsk. She continued her education at the Vadim Pisariev Ukrainian Dance Academy in Donetsk; she graduated with honours from the Academy in 1995. She is the winner of the 1st prize in the Donbas Young Talents Competition in Donetsk.

In 1994 she started to work as a coryphée in the National Academic Russian Opera and Ballet; after two years she was promoted to ballet soloist. She performed in the USA, Italy, France, Spain, Norway, Switzerland and Germany. In 1997 she moved to Poland and she was engaged by the Grand Theatre in Poznań as a coryphée. In 2006 she was promoted to soloist.

Her parts include: Small Clara, Russian and Spanish Dance in The Nutcracker, Street Dancer and the Queen of Dryads in Don Quixote, Mirth in Giselle, Tsarina in The Firebird, The Queen of the East in Pan Twardowski, Maria Magdalena in The Rehearsal, the Girl in The Peacock and the Girl, Effie in Les Sylphides and Marquise in Dangerous Liaisons. She perfectly mastered the ballet technique, but she is also recognized for her disposition for performing and acting skills.
